Various activities were conducted by Zagro team and its importer partner Ultravetis in Kenya. Zagro was represented by Dr Calvin Kodongo based on Kenya and Dr Hary Hartantyo from Singapore.
The activities focused on strategic planning and capacity building of Zagro products portfolio and corporate initiatives. Activities were conducted throughout Kenya, with meetings in Mombassa and in the vicinity of the capital, Nairobi.
A swine management-focused seminar was also conducted to address Swine management for commercial farmers, and special focus was given on Swine Nutrition Biosecurity using Zagro Farm Hygiene Range. Follow-up activities such as Farm Hygiene demos are continuously being conducted as follow-up action by the local team in Kenya. This initiative is timely with the sporadic outbreak of african swine fever that is now a global challenge with no known treatment to date
